Kaelo Energy is an early-stage investment partnership between Letsema and Red Cap Energy looking to become the leading black-owned, South African Clean Energy business within 10 years.

Red Cap Energy brings with it a history of REIPPPP development since Round 1 having successfully developed several bid winning REIPPPP projects. Red Cap Energy and its founders have deep experience in renewable energy development, construction and operational oversight. They also have with an existing pipeline of 1.2GW that will be developed and bid in the coming rounds of the public and private procurement program.
